I get it about the ‘worry’ you mentioned. I do still believe that places like WP are safer platforms for speaking out that encourage dialogue. You and I do not ‘call out’ or accuse but neither do we sacrifice our values to silence in the face of blatant hurtful/wrong doing. ❤️ Hang in there and take care of yourself and those you hold dear.

I hope you continue to have the strength to post, even with the fear of retribution. Speaking out, in ways small and large, is so important. Like you, I’m eager for a return to decency and hope that by sharing this series I am playing a [admittedly small] part in bringing it back.

There are definitely layers of loss tangled in this web. I know there are many other groups around the world doing similar work; I feel for those groups as they navigate the ripple effects of what is happening here, yet I am grateful they are finding ways to keep working.
