I agree, mass shootings/murders are 100% cowardly. In the name of what? Self. Power. Conquest. Dare I say – evil?
I’ve never thought of those acts as being random at all – it takes a certain amount of effort/planning/resolve to go out and do those horrific deeds.
Your state has had more than its share of them, too.

When a coward takes a rifle into a group of unsuspecting, unarmed, non-combatants and shoots them, that is not a random act that’s a cowardly act and the media should use that word.

Utterly incomprehensible – and yet here in our own country these things are all too common – a reflection on our national character? Perhaps more on the focus of ‘leadership’ values not being in sync with the heart of we the people.
