In reply to Endless Weekend. I noticed the beauty of the year as depicted in Roman Numerals at the turning of this past century. The graphic MMXX was a subtle reminder to me that there can be simple beauty found in what was the year 2020. This year's turning to MMXXII seems grander and is a reminder for me to hope...in doubles as you put it.
