Long before my Swimming with Swans: The Music – Goat Suite (Saga) was released, L.Marie asked if I would like to be a featured guest on her blog once the Big Day arrived.
Of course I said, “Yes”.
This woman, herself an accomplished author, has a reputation with us creatives as being actively supportive of her fellow (he)artists – both in word and deed. Going the extra mile with surprise encouragements in the snail mail to conducting interviews on her blog, L.Marie unabashedly helps enable & promote others’ newly released works.
She’s a Gem.
Please go here for that interview and while youβre there, maybe have a look around her blog. Enjoy!
Great stuff! I have zero knowledge in music, other than self-learning the guitar, so it’s nice to learn something totally new. In fact, I’m not sure I even follow any music blogs on here, because it’s so out of my niche, but now that I’ve met your acquaintance, I would probably visit more!
Thanks for migrating over here from Bossy Babe’s! May your day be more of the ‘mordent’ type rather than that of the ‘mordant’.

I enjoyed the interview, and really liked the music!
Thanks, Jennie!
What a lovely and enlightening read, Laura! I’ve taken notes from your advice to budding composers because making music sounds like writing, especially this ” Along with all that hands-on sort of stuff, listen, listen, listen to a plethora of musical genres.” Thank you so much for all the joy your music brings! <3
Thanks for taking the time to read both posts, Khaya – and kinda cool about you taking notes, too!
Enjoy the opening up of the Springtime Sunshine up there in Finland…I know it has lifted your spirit just soaking in its warmth.
Brava!
Mille Grazie!
A wonderful interview, Laura! I was so happy to see (read) you on Linda’s blog π
It was a pleasure to see you at both sites – thanks for the support!
My pleasure π
A delightful interview! Thanks for posting it! π Laura’s music is fresh and inspiring, as is her story.
L.Marie is the great ‘enabler’ of us creatives – her interviews are highly regarded. Thanks for stopping by both sites, Cheryl!
Very awesome, beautiful music!
Thank you, Tierney!
So pleased for you ?
Thank you, Susie!
Visited … and that was fabulous. Love the music while reading. Looking forward to hearing more.
Frank, I’m more than delighted with your visit to L.Marie’s place – part of our blogger gatherings, eh?
And as for ‘hearing more’ – there’s plenty in the queue in various stages of readiness to be put ‘out there’.
Thanks for listening.
For me, this is great background music. Actually listening now as the Finale just started. π
I hope it brings a smile to your face & respite during the challenges you’re currently facing.
Absolutely … and thank again!
Thank you for being my guest, Laura! It’s a dream come true for me to feature your music!!! Peace to you!
…and it’s an honor to be one of your ‘featured’ (he)artists…
peace also with you
π
