I hope you’re enjoying your break. I have been blogging for almost ten years. It seems that there are a lot of us who began about that same time. It’s a lot to keep up, but it’s hard to walk away from such a friendly community! Hope you find good rest and rejuvenation “out there.”

You’re spot on about the realities of keeping a blog long(er)term. A nuisance to keep up but hard to close up shop! Enjoy the coming cooler days of Fall.
Having reached yet again the WP picture “end” – I’m just doing words for now. Pictures of whatever I’m doing on IG – sometimes WIP, sometimes finished … Plus I’ve been out of kilter with health of the covid kind, still working on returning to upright health….
I think we all need to do that from time to time. I took two weeks off when I went on my brothers’ trip (actually I limited myself to 15 minutes per day), and I didn’t miss it. Blogging is supposed to be fun. As I’ve told my wife, if ever gets to feel like work, I’ll move on. I’m traveling right now and giving myself the next four days off.
I took a break from blogging, and it was nice to just read what everyone else wrote. Just started back about a month ago and it feels good. Hope you enjoy your break and come back when you are ready!
Looking forward to your own return to blogging! BTW: been listening more to Kaki King & Guy Buttery along with Kula Shaker. But this white album piece is an appropriate send off which amplifies my need to take a break HA!!!!
