Reply laura bruno lilly (Post author) May 26, 2014 at 7:39 am I remember there was once a Lone Hollyhock that made its way through the asphalt ground of a major retail parking lot. The hope reflected there was not only in the ‘flower living on’ but also in the actions of everyday people to help enable it to live out its flowering life. There were little rock ‘barricades’ set up around it in order to protect it from on-coming cars with intent to park over it. Amazingly, it lived through most of the growing season… Loading...
