Enjoyed this, and it came at a timely moment. Further restrictions are being imposed on us over here, and we’re all becoming a little tired of it all. I’ve been sat up tonight, reading some Carson McCullers and her misfit ensemble, and clicked onto this post just as I’m preparing to go to bed. Tomorrow I’m taking James to a football match for I fear it will be our last chance for a while. Again.
Hang in there. Thanks for the message.
Good to be reminded, that “we all shall get through this…” I realise more and more, how lucky I am – the single retired person, who although I live alone here, things have been overcome. And even though I thought I wanted the old me/life – I actually see I needed a “stab in the arm (read brain) to renew it, make it better or some such similar thing!
But to be truly honest, some days nothing seems like it will be…a happening. Getting less of them, as I make my way in my uncertain at times world…
My internet suddenly went out, so I’m not sure my previous comment is even in moderation. Anyway, what a beautiful message and song, Laura. We need each other. We especially need the help of God–“a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1 NKJV)
Wonderful post! I enjoy seeing the candid photos of life long ago. I had not heard this song before – I love the beautiful and soulful lyrics and the hope it offers for better days. “We will get through – we always do”
How lovely, Laura!
Enjoy your Sunday, Jennie…thanks for stopping by.
My pleasure, Laura!

Such a beautiful song. Amazing voices. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
You’re welcome, Janis. I hope you’re doing okay while being surrounded by such wildfires gone crazy.
We are doing fine here in coastal SoCal… so far.
So far so good…that’s good news for sure.
Beautiful song! I had never heard it before. What a lovely message!
Thanks Pete. Happy to pass on a new song to you, especially when it speaks a timely message.
Beautiful!
Your ‘light’ came in the form of butterflies today, mine herein…
