As a WP.org user, re-blogging an article from another WP site is not an easy task. I decided to try my hand at it this time around just because…
According to the WP stats on my Jetpack, the article Veteran Homelessness Hits Zero In Las Cruces has been successfully re-blogged on my site.
If this experiment does not work, please take a look at the article directly by clicking on the above link. Or here
As most of you know, this is something near and dear to my heart. It is even more meaningful as Las Cruces, NM is hubby’s hometown and where The Goat Suite Saga was born.
I reached the article with the second link.
Zero homelessness? How wonderful! Thanks for pointing that out, Laura.
It’s important to mention the ‘wins’ along the way.
The first link comes up short, but the second worked! What a fantastic achievement for Las Cruces; I wonder how many other cities took up the challenge….
Strange about WP.org acting so differently, and somewhat diffidently. Hmmmm….

WP.org vs WP.com is an on-going debate…bottom line is that if you’re self hosted, WP doesn’t offer the simple things like a re-blog button that works, gathering tags for others on WP to search, or the opportunity to get freshly pressed…or an easy way to update themes, templates and plugins. 🙁
But to be WP.org means more freedom and control over one’s website…even if it gets technically thorny at times!
